Argand Partners Announces New Investment Team Hires

NEW YORK, December 1, 2022 –  Argand Partners, LP (“Argand”), the New York- and San Francisco Bay Area-based industrials private equity firm, is pleased to announce the recent addition of two individuals to its investment team; Ford Harrington joins as Vice President and Peter Derby joins as Associate.

Prior to joining Argand, Ford led corporate development at Navisite, an IT services portfolio company of Madison Dearborn Partners.  Previously, he was a Vice President at Highline Management, a lower middle market private equity fund where he focused on Business Services and Healthcare Services investments.  Prior to Highline, Ford was at Walden Capital, a family office focused primarily on Consumer investments. Ford began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at CIBC World Markets.  He holds a B.A. in History from Harvard College and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Peter joins Argand from AlpInvest | The Carlyle Group, where he was an Associate focused on private equity co-investments.  Previously, Peter was an Investment Banking Analyst at Guggenheim Securities.  Peter holds a B.B.A. in Finance with a specialization in Alternative Asset Management and a minor in Mandarin Chinese from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
