Argand Partners Announces New Senior Investment Team Hire

NEW YORK, March 22, 2023 – Argand Partners, LP (“Argand”), the New York- and San Francisco Bay Area-based private equity firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Eric Korsten as Managing Director.  Gerald Lizzo has also joined Argand as an Associate.

Eric brings over 25 years of experience identifying, investing in, advising, and growing middle-market companies and has deep relationships across the private equity industry.  Howard Morgan, Managing Partner & Co-Founder at Argand, commented, “Eric has a great track record of sourcing and executing attractive investments and working with companies to accelerate their growth. Prior to joining Argand, Eric had previously been a Senior Managing Director and Investment Committee member at Branford Castle Partners, LP where he worked for over a decade until 2022 helping launch and grow two private equity funds. Eric led numerous investments across a variety of industries, including notable investments in Surface Preparation Technologies and Pulse Veterinary Technologies, among others. Earlier in his career, Eric was an investment banker at Jefferies & Co. Eric graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. and holds an M.B.A. from New York University – Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Gerald joins Argand from Piper Sandler in New York where he was an Investment Banking Associate focused on M&A advisory within the chemicals industry. Previously, Gerald was at Mizuho in New York focused on corporate finance and capital market transactions within the industrials space. Gerald graduated summa cum laude from Macaulay Honors College at Baruch, CUNY with a B.B.A. in Finance and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies in NYC.
