Argand Partners Announces Team Promotions and New Hire

NEW YORK, April 1, 2025 – Argand Partners, LP (“Argand”), the New York-based middle-market private equity firm, with offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and Miami, today announced the promotion of Charlie Burns to Partner and the appointment of David Faiman as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Portfolio Operations. Further, Ford Harrington was promoted to Principal, Hanan Hassan was promoted to Vice President and Gerald Lizzo was promoted to Senior Associate.

“Charlie has been with Argand since our inception in 2015, having previously worked with members of our team for a number of years before then. We are proud to welcome him now as a Partner of the firm, in recognition of his many contributions,” commented Heather Faust, Co-Founder of Argand. Mr. Burns was most recently a Managing Director and has worked primarily with portfolio companies Sigma Engineered Solutions and PolyShield Group, in addition to pursuing new investments and serving important roles in firm recruiting and management. In 2021, he settled in San Francisco as the second member of our team based there.

David Faiman has been an investor in the Argand funds, as a member of the firm’s Senior Executive Advisors since inception. Mr. Faiman has spent much of his career in private equity-owned businesses, having been CFO of three, a senior finance professional of two others and CFO of one public company. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he earned his CPA. “We are delighted to have Dave join us at Argand. We have already worked with him on projects in the past and are confident of his skills and cultural fit with our team,” said Howard D. Morgan, Co-Founder of Argand. Mr. Faiman is taking on Argand roles from Joe Del Toro, who has become the CFO of Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Continued Mr. Morgan, “We are thrilled that Joe found an exciting opportunity to pursue his long-term ambitions in higher education and to give back to the broader community. We are also pleased that Joe will remain an investor in our partnerships, assist in the transition to Dave and continue to have an active non-executive director role in several of our portfolio companies.”

Ford Harrington has been promoted to Principal. Having joined the firm as Vice President in 2022, he has actively supported Argand’s portfolio company Oase and has been integrally involved in several new pending transactions. “Ford has been a great teammate, and we look forward to his continuing to advance in leading new deals and supporting our portfolio,” commented Joyce Schnoedl, Partner at Argand.

Hanan Hassan has been promoted to Vice President, advancing since joining the firm in 2021. Hanan has been heavily involved with Argand’s portfolio companies Oase and Sigma Engineered Solutions. In addition to continuing her portfolio and deal activities, she will become more active in Argand’s investor relations initiatives.

Gerald Lizzo has been promoted to Senior Associate after two years of impressive performance at Argand.
