Midwest Can is a market-leading manufacturer of portable fuel containers used for the safe handling, storage and usage of flammable liquids such as gas, diesel and kerosene. Founded in 1951, Midwest Can is based in Illinois, U.S. and has been a leader in the fuel container industry for 70 years. The company designs and manufactures portable fuel containers and its Container Specialties division manufactures custom blow-molded plastic containers for the food, automotive, chemical, and agriculture industries.

Midwest Can is an innovation leader and its products are designed with safety in mind. Its innovative FlameShield Safety System, a two-layer protective system including an internal flame mitigation device and a vapor locking spout, provides consumers with a greater level of protection when using gasoline, diesel and kerosene fuel containers.

Midwest Can also manufactures fluid management accessories such as funnels, drain pans and spouts. Midwest Can’s products are sold through a diverse customer base consisting of farm & fleet, lawn & garden, automotive aftermarket, hardware, and gas & convenience retailers.
